HSC 4 more exams of postponed

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has postponed the ongoing HSC and

equivalent examinations of 2024 to be held on July 28, 29, 31 and August 1.

On Thursday (July 25), Inter Education Board Coordination Committee President

and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor

Tapan Kumar Sarkar informed this information.
He said, “This decision has been taken considering

the security of the examinees in the prevailing situation of the country.

All the postponed exams will be held after August 11. However, the date has not been fixed.
Before this, first on July 18 and then on July 21, 23 and 25 – a total of 4 days,

the HSC and equivalent examinations of all education boards were postponed by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
Incidentally,

the examination is scheduled to be held from July 28 as per the usual schedule. Besides, according to the schedule, the theoretical examination of

HSC was supposed to be completed on August 11.
Basically, the government announced the indefinite closure of

all schools-colleges, madrasas and polytechnic institutes in the country considering the safety of the students amid

the movement demanding reform of the quota system in government jobs. At the same time HSC and equivalent examinations were suspended.
